A Difference in 1955 and 2005

Today, June 24, 2005 I am 49 years, 8mos and 10 days old and I have just seen my first transvestite up close in personal ... in public... in a store no less. There was nothing pleasant or encouraging about it.  In reality it was disgusting and very disappointing.  When I was a kid the only place a transvestite would dare to show their face was in San Francisco and maybe New York City.  I saw this person in a nice pleasant southern town.

I paid no attention to it until I realized that this was my first time to see this .... and standing right next to me ... was my 12 year old son.  He too had just seen his first transvestite.

I was born October 14, 1955 ... so I didn't
 have to deal with this visual atrocity for

In other words 49 years, 8mos and 10 days.

My son on the other hand had only
4,742 days
113,808 hours
6,828,485 minutes
409,709,118 seconds

Before having to deal with this.

I had 4 times as long as he did.

This time difference is virtually saying that the world is
deteriorating 4 times faster than we age and mature.

I am an adult ... an OLD adult.

He hasn't hit puberty and he has to take all
of this in and decide what he thinks about it.

In other words he's the Beaver's age. Can you imagine the Beaver,
Wally, Ward, and Barbara Billingsley having to deal with this?

Do we have to tolerate this? No we don't.  We can stand up and drive the perverted ones back into the closet.  We can drive them back and nail the door shut.

Do I hate these people? NO. NO. NO.  And I do not promote hating these people.  But I can despise sin.  I don't have to hate something or someone to know that it is perverted and unhealthy for all.  AND let me clarify something for everyone.  It is unhealthy for GOD's children to stand idly by and do nothing!

We are called his soldiers.

How can we stand still - do nothing - and be fighting the good fight?

Let me answer that - WE CAN'T.

NO ONE can pass the buck on their duties as a Christian.  NO ONE!  YET many, many try to pass the buck - in fact the vast majority do.   And you ask, "How can you know that?"  Because GOD's power cannot and will  not ever be defeated.  So, evil only prevails when GOD's power is not used!  Is evil prevailing?  Is Evil running rampant?  Has GOD changed?  Or ... have we?

Everyone is a soldier for the LORD. Everyone.  If you fail to fight you can and will be charged with treason and mutiny for abandoning your post.

 The First Step - and it's only the first step - is to pray adamantly that GOD put these people where they belong and that GOD's people do as HE would have us to do.

 Second - get politically involved at every turn. Show the politicians that our apathy has died ... we ... the Christian majority ... are back and we will no longer take political correctness in place of true democracy that is fashioned after GOD's word.

 Third - Replace all elders and deacons and fire all preachers who will not fight this fight for they are not GOD's soldiers or leaders if they do not make the stand themselves and teach others to do the same.  There is a statement from a song that Elvis did in 1971.  It applies to members of the church more than any one else.  TOO MUCH TALK and NOT ENOUGH ACTION. 

We study, and we study, and we study and the elders and preachers think they have done something because they teach the word.  What a joke.

When all you do is "TEACH and STUDY" all you are doing is teaching people to study!  You've made them believe that studying is salvation because knowledge is what saves us.  BAH Humbug! BUT at this the elders and preacher have done a great job.  Because that is all the church does - study - talk, talk, talk about it - but put it into practice?  or look at themselves in the mirror and see a lukewarm reflection? 

Where is the love for GOD and each other?  You know - "the two greatest" commandments?  I hold the elders accountable for this travesty for surely GOD does.

Why don't they realize that what they are to FEED the sheep is LOVE and LOVE is an action word.  You cannot love and do nothing!  LOVE is not talk and it is not cheap.

 Fourth - Fire all politicians who do not fight the good fight and who do not do as we - the majority - demand they do - No Exceptions - No Deals - No Bargaining.

 FIFTH - perpetually stand guard and watch the devil's children. When they move we must make our counter move immediately and be faster - stronger - for if GOD be for us who can stand against us?

 At the same time if we are working fervently to be on fire for the LORD - 24/7 - the blaze from the millions of Christians love - for GOD and each other - will consume all that is evil.

 HOLD ALL ACCOUNTABLE. Do not judge the people but judge their actions. It's a fine line. BUT it must be done.

 GOD FIRST. ALWAYS FIRST.
