The Two Ditches of Life

I started not to share this then I decide to let you decide - and - hopefully there is a lesson here for us.

Our Judges have overstepped their authority - seriously overstepped their authority - AND now - after years of ignoring these judges -( it started in 1963 with the right to pray in schools being taken away) - everyone wants to fix everything with a snap of a finger.  I would say it's unfortunate - but maybe it is best that only GOD's snapping fingers work that quick.

Lesson Number 1 - it's important that we work - and work hard - to keep ourselves, our families and our government on the straight and narrow - each and every second of each and every day - instead of waiting till any or all of these things are in bad shape.

Where were we when Anita Bryant risked everything to fight homosexuality? The truth is our lack of support motivated the homosexuals to press on harder, faster - with more daring and perverted boldness.  It also made the politicians think that the sinfulness of homosexuality did not matter to anyone accept Anita Bryant.  What a brave woman she was and what cowards we were and what little foresight we had.

Lesson Number 2 - Now, as history has proven over and over again, when the pendulum has swung too far one way, until it is in the ditch, people are doing drastic things in the name of righteousness, fairness, equality, correcting wrong, eliminating the evil sinners, etc, etc, etc...  You know what happens when we try this snapping of the fingers cure? Whiplash! We jerk the pendulum so hard in an attempt to put it in the middle of the lane - where it belongs - the pendulum ends up in the other ditch!  Do you know what's in the other ditch? Women being property to the point that they have NO say or influence over anything. They can't vote , they can't file for divorce, they can't smoke, they aren't paid the same, etc. Some of this may be better if it was this way - But the male of the species has proven time and again they cannot handle that kind of power. With all of this power comes abuse - horrible abuse - some women - just to stay alive and keep their children alive need to be able to get a divorce.  Or just to stay alive and keep their children alive need to work.

You know what else is in this other ditch?  Prejudice, bigotry, and hatred.  Man will start out attacking the homosexuals and evil politicians.  Then, as they gain momentum, they will start attacking minorities and any body that is target - First additional targets will be illegal aliens and included in these illegal aliens is all of the following: Jews, Indians, Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc... This will result in American born people of these races being included in prejudice treatment and it also will include the Americans who have a longer claim to America than any one else - the Indians.

This knee jerking, finger snapping whiplash will pull the pendulum right into the lane of righteousness and the momentum will carry it right on out the other side ending up in the ditch of "self-righteousness". Which will create the knee jerking finger snapping whiplash back to the ditch of "self-indulgence".   These are the only two ditches.  There is not a third.  The irony is that both ditches lead to "self destruction."

The fingers are poised and ready for a major snapping. (even though I write this and despise it - I prefer it - over us continuing down the path we are on - I mean I try to fight the apathy in my brothers with very limited results - Oh - I get a lot who agree but very few who move from the luke warm waters.)

The never ending cycle of the stupidity of man - Christian men are too blame more than any other. Why? Because we have the best instruction book in the world and we study it - too no avail - Why do I say to no avail?  Because we let apathy - luke warmness - rule our life. See the truth is the water is more comfortable to swim in when it's luke warm. Not hot - not cold. You see hot will make you move and move a lot - cold will cause hypothermia and death.

Most male members of the church have fallen to the cold side of luke warmness and even now they don't fight the evil that surrounds us.  The older men should be ashamed because most of the avail that prevails has occurred on their watch! And they still do nothing....

Lesson Number 3 - Vengeance is not a good tool to use and it still belongs to GOD.  Now - to make a point - these men mentioned below are seeking vengeance - though it is a good point they make - it is still motivated by vengeance.  Vengeance is always dangerous - very dangerous.

ALERT: Are you as OUTRAGED as I am about the Supreme Court's recent decision, allowing city governments to take land from one private owner and give it to another? In "Kelo vs. City of New London", five Justices (led by David Souter) ruled that "eminent domain" allows any local government to TAKE anyone's private property if the government will generate greater tax revenue -- or any other economic benefits -- when the land is developed by the new owner.

If you AREN'T outraged, then you're not paying attention!

These black-robed dictators have now virtually destroyed individual property rights in the United States. Ignoring the U.S. Constitution AGAIN, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that local governments have the "right" to seize private property to make way for private commercial development such as shopping malls.

You read that right. It doesn't matter if your family has lived in your home since you were 11 years old -- if the local government decides that they could make more tax dollars by putting in a mall, too bad for you and your family.

Even Justice Sandra Day O'Connor said in her dissent to the ruling, "Nothing is to prevent the State from replacing any Motel 6 with a Ritz-Carlton, any home with a shopping mall, or any farm with a factory."

But, the Supreme Court has spoken, so that's the end of it, right? Nothing can be done to expose this ruling for the TRAVESTY it really is, right?

WRONG. As a matter of fact, there IS something that can be done -- we can take this ruling to its logical conclusion, and show Justice Souter and his ilk who are sitting there in their ivory towers, far removed from us "common" folk, just what their "legal theories" are doing to US.

So, in keeping with what has now been deemed "constitutional", a private developer has contacted the local government in Supreme Court Justice David Souter's hometown in New Hampshire, asking that the property of the judge be seized to make room for a new hotel, to be named "The Lost Liberty Hotel".

According to WorldNetDaily.com, Logan Darrow Clements faxed a request to the town of Weare, N.H., seeking to start the application process to build a hotel on 34 Cilley Hill Road, the present location of Souter's home.

Wrote Clements: "Although this property is owned by an individual, David H. Souter, a recent Supreme Court decision, Kelo v. City of New London, clears the way for this land to be taken by the government of Weare through eminent domain and given to my LLC for the purposes of building a hotel. The justification for such an eminent domain action is that our hotel will better serve the public interest as it will bring in economic development and higher tax revenue to Weare."

Ah, poetic justice is served. And YOU can help serve it to Justice Souter.

TAKE ACTION: This is not a prank. The town of Weare has five people on the Board of Selectmen. If three of them vote to use the power of eminent domain to take this land from Mr. Souter, Mr. Clements can begin his hotel development -- and we can begin the process of *reversing* this travesty of justice. He already plans to raise investment capital from wealthy pro-liberty investors and draw up architectural plans. These plans would then be used to raise additional capital for the project.

NOTE: Yes, like Clements, we're aware of the apparent conflict of someone who is strongly opposed to the Kelo decision using it to purposely oust an American from his property. "I realize there is a contradiction, but we're only going to use it against people who advocated" the Kelo decision, Clements told WorldNet Daily. "Therefore, it's a case of retaliation, not initiation."
