It is amazing how we take scripture and either ignore them, or twist them into more or less than what they are.

EXAMPLE: "Money is the root of all evil." Words from a scripture that we have made it more confining and or more condemning than what it actually is. The scripture this comes from is I Timothy 6: Verse 10: "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."

See the difference? Money is not the root of "all" evil and all money is not evil. Money is the root of all kinds of evil. This is too true.

If you are financially successful and buy whatever you want, why would you believe that you need to search for truth? Particularly if you do not already possess the truth? I mean the truth is you "are" successful … you "are" rich … you must be better than everyone else…… what more truth do you need?  This is what we are fooled into believing.

The truth is you still need GOD’s truth … BUT … your worldly truth literally blinds you from being able to see this. To be rich is a perpetual stumbling block that very few can step over or go around… and still learn and develop spiritually.

I have met some very wealthy people. Some of them have been from the business world and some from the entertainment industry. Most of them, not all, but most of them, would throw temper tantrums and make irrational demands, in other words literally behave in an omnipotent manner. Their behavior can be called nothing else other than child like.

Their fame and fortune has led them to believe that they are better than others. We don’t help much because some people literally worship these people. Employees will agree with anything that their rich boss says and praise him/her for their genius … whether they agree with them or not this is what they will do.

Entertainers have women swoon over them, chase them, throw themselves at them, and literally faint in their presence. When are we going to get this straight … these entertainers work for us. They are the equivalent of our employees. Also, they will say and do anything for their fame and fortune including portraying all kinds of sin, from speaking GOD’s name in vain to prostituting themselves by playing nude sexual scenes. Then they want to call it art when the truth is it is sin and they did it just for money and fame.

What is strange is that we know that politicians will "sell their soul" or "sell their mother" for a vote and we believe that to be apprehensible but we won’t see it about the entertainers. This is very shameful on our part.

Entertainers are not to be worshipped, most of them are the equivalent of the "court jester". There are some good ones but the good ones, when you look at their personal lives, do nothing to promote idolatry or worshipping of themselves. They know they are no better than anyone else … just fortunate to have the money they have.
