So, what is the point? FREEDOM, as in all things, must be grown into. It is not something that you can be given suddenly or immediately.

Take freedom in a marriage. There are many "areas" of freedom in marriage. The whole struggle in marriage is arriving at the point where we have all areas of freedom at our disposal at all times. The only problem with this desire is most of us try to accomplish this goal the same way the 18 month old tried to obtain his 18 year old status. It usely results in a rude awakening that becomes an attitude adjustment. If we will just let our freedoms come as they will- we will have them much sooner and they will mean more to us. Most importantly our spouse will not feel parenthood thrust upon them in what should be a marital relationship. Both parties will know that these freedoms were earned. Earned by respecting the other and being considerate of them and by caring enough to court, seduce, and have foreplay before each new freedom is consummated. An indescribable bond is built in the process with each new freedom becoming something that will last and will be respected by both spouses.

So, when you find a new freedom that you need in "any" relationship, take your time and help the other person(s) grow into this new freedom.

Remember - freedom is one of the strongest forms of trust there is and trust must be built on a solid foundation.
