How Can We Truly Love Each Other ?

Which of the following is true: If a man lives to be 100 years old he has lived:

A. 1,200 months
B. 5,200 weeks
C. 36,500 days
D. 876,000 hours
E. 52,560,000 minutes
F. 3,153,600,000 seconds
G. Anyone or all of the above

If you said anyone or all of the above you are correct !

Now why would I start out talking about loving each other by talking about how long our time on Earth is? Because, in reality, time is our absolute most valuable commodity. It cost us the most. Money, jewels, gold, silver, etc...we can replace. TIME WE CANNOT ! It costs us less to give of our money than it does of our time. My point is "We always have time for the things we put first." Yet spending time with our brothers and sisters in Christ is something we do the least of.

Every week has 168 hours of which we spend approximately, "IF" we attend all worship services the average congregation offers, 4 hours a week or 2 % of our time in worshipping our Lord and maybe an additional 20 minutes or .002 % of our time fellowshipping with each other.

Worship 4.0 hrs 2.38 %

Fellowshipping .33 hrs 0.002%

Totaling 4.33 hours 2.41 % approx.

Approximately 92% is spent in worship.  No time for each other.

How can we love each other when we spend less than 3 % of our lives together and with our family ??? If we spent only 4 hrs and 20 minutes a week taking care of our kids the government would take them away from us ! Are we saying that we don't need to take care of each other ? Maybe not physically BUT certainly spiritually we must take care of each other!!! But physical care should be there when needed.

So under this 2.41 % scenario, If a man lives to be 100 years old he has lived:

Either way you cut it, it is fractional at best! The most important thing we can learn in our entire lifetime and we spend the least amount of time learning and preparing for it!!!

In a 17 year period we spend approximately 30,940 hours attending kindergarten, school, and college. We do this to prepare us for a potential of living another 78 years of life. Yet we spend only 20,848.8 hours out of 100 years to prepare for eternity!!! Almost no one alive today will deny the importance of a proper education to prepare us for our lives on Earth! Why can't we see that we must spend more time preparing for "forever"!!!!

Why is the time analysis so important? GOD says, "This is how we know who the children of GOD are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of GOD; nor is anyone who does not loves his brother." (1 John 3:10)
