Non-Believer vs. Christianity

Atheist and Agnostics are in the same category as any and all Non-Believers.

Whether a NON-Believer has openly stated that he is an Atheist or is Agnostic or whether he simply takes no position or action to follow Christ, the NON-Believer is a gambler extraordinaire. 

The NON-Believer sits at the table and places his bet.  He says, "There is no GOD. Period."  And whether he wants to or not he places is life into the pot.

He doesn't understand why Christians are so stupid that they would believe in such a myth.  Why don't they live the way he does?

I'll tell you why.  It's not because they are blind or follow the masses.

You see - EVEN IF the NON-Believing Gambler is right, he wins nothing. NOTHING!  AND he will never know he was right cause according to his NO GOD beliefs, when his life is over ... it's over.

But on the flip side - if  he is wrong, not only does he still lose his life he also gets to spend eternity in hell.  An excruciating existence to say the least.

You see most gamblers bet on things that they at least have a chance of winning the bet and getting something out of it.  NOT the Non-Believing Gambler.

If he's right -  he loses.
If he's wrong - HE LOSES and PAYS for it FOREVER!

And you see even the stupidest of Christians know this is a BAD BET!

So even if you take the 100 % logical / intellectual approach to being a NON-BELIEVER or a CHRISTIAN - logically AND intellectually Christianity is the only choice.

Now the NON-Believing Gambler takes the position he has for many reasons. 

The number one reason is because he's afraid.  AFRAID?  of What?
There are many reasons of which some are:

1. Looking Stupid.  You see the NON-Believing Gambler has Scientists saying evolution is the answer to how we got here.  Never realizing that what Scientists "interpret" as evolution may still fit into GOD creating the Universe.  Also, he's taking the word of MEN .... mere men ... that were not alive during any of these time periods that they say exist.  So, no matter what they say they cannot prove their "theories" absolutely.

If you want to talk about evidence - there is 14 times more evidence that JESUS existed and did the things HE did than all the evidence proving William Shakespeare existed.  14 times more.  Yet almost no one questions Shakespeare's existence.

2. Missing Out.  The NON-Believing Gambler is afraid that he / she will miss out on life's carnal pleasures.  This one is a big one.  They just want to party, work, steal, rape, plunder, lie, etc the way they want.

3. Not Being a GOD - if there is a single GOD then the NON-Believing Gambler can't be a GOD himself.  He doesn't control his life and his ultimate destiny.  So he lets arrogance and a lack of humility run (or ruin) his life.

The sad part is, just like an alcoholic can't drink alone, neither can the
NON-Believing Gambler die alone.  He has to take others with him.

He lets his PRIDE, LUSTS, ARROGANCE, and SELFISHNESS control him. 

Not good traits and they are not to be trusted.

Who's the stupid one?

So now I pose a question to you:

Do want to follow - better yet TRUST - an individual or idea that lets PRIDE, LUST, ARROGANCE, and SELFISHNESS speak for him?  (You know these same character traits are good descriptions of the devil too. Coincidence?)

I hate to point out the obvious but none of these character traits have your best interest at heart. NONE OF THEM!

Christian's don't call their choice a BET.

We call it FAITH and HOPE.

You can have your Faith and Hope in something that has
absolutely ZERO value or you can place it in JESUS' hands. 

It requires a conscience decision and certain actions must be taken. 
YOU CANNOT accidentally follow Christ. 
YOU MUST BELIEVE, REPENT, and BE BAPTIZED!
Baptism is full body immersion in water.
